New York four-piece Only Sibling drops the official music video for single ‘Native’, taken from their forthcoming debut full-length Get Well Soon. The introspective record which balances aggression with melody explores the challenges of pursuing a passion while trying to maintain the many other aspects of life.

Consisting of Alex Basovskiy (vocals, guitar), Jordan Torres (guitar, vocals), Damian LaRocco (bass), and Alex Allen (drums), Only Sibling’s journey began when the members met in high school and bonded over their shared love of ‘90s alternative, shoegaze, and emo.

On their 2016 debut EP, What Keeps Me Up At Night, Only Sibling focused on bringing their varied sonic influences together to make something authentic. Evolving from their focus on soundscapes to hone their lyrical talent, Get Well Soon uses subtler soundscapes and intricate song writing, as the quartet looks inwards at their own actions while simultaneously trying to figure out their relationship with everyone around them.

Keeping with their theme of reflection in the record, the band have infused tinges of humour into their self-aware approach on the guitar-led “Native”, which takes tongue-in-cheek look at some of the clichés of being in a band while acknowledging their own indulgences.
