The band were having to cut their tour short earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and they were hoping to resume the tour “for this Fall“, but unfortunately TOOL have now confirmed that the remaining US dates from the tour will be cancelled.

In a lengthy statement on social media, the band said that after they had to postpone the remaining dates, they were still hoping to be resuming the tour later this year or 2021. However, as time goes on, they realised there is “absolutely no certainty” in when live shows will be returning due to varying rules in different cities and states that “no one can predict“. It’s because of this that the band decided to cancel the remaining dates.

The dates impacted are all 30 dates from 12th March in Eugene, Oregan to 23rd June in San Francisco, California.

Everyone that’s in possession of a ticket for any of these affected dates will be emailed about their refunds and when to expect them. The band have said that “when the time is right,” they will hit the road again – we’ll just have to be a little more patient.
