Following from allegations of using a racial slur, THE GHOST INSIDE have parted ways with their bassist Jim Riley.

Riley was accused of using a racial slur towards a bus driver by Rashod Jackson from Bracewar. Jackson asked about the incident on Twitter, retweeting a post about the band’s exclusive merchandise on sale to raise money for the NAACP.

The Ghost Inside have now posted their response to the allegation, confirming they have “decided to part ways” with bassist Riley. They say that the band was built upon “a scene of forward thinking, understanding and progressiveness” and that actions similar to Riley’s “closes and locks doors that need to be broken open“.
