Fan footage has surfaced from We Came As Romans first live show in The Pageant, St. Louis, Missouri after the tragic loss of their frontman Kyle Pavone.
The band had recently announced via social media that despite the circumstances, they’d still head out on their tour with Bullet For My Valentine to honour Kyle and promote his foundation ‘The Kyle Pavone Foundation.’
Speaking to the crowd on stage before performing ‘Lost In The Moment’ vocalist Dave Stephens said: “A few weeks ago, we lost our best friend our bandmate, our brother, our singer/keyboardist Kyle Pavone. And this is the first show that we’ve done without him.
“This is something I wasn’t sure we’d ever get to do again. I think it’s what he would have wanted. I think it’s the best way to honour his legacy.”
In footage from their first show, you can hear fans loudly chanting Kyle’s name as Stephen’s emotionally nods along with them.
